[ArmAII]High Commander video + Infos en vrac

armabase.de ont sorti une vidéo qu’ils ont capturé durant la GC. La qualité n’est pas terrible, mais une meilleure version disponible en téléchargement sera bientôt en ligne.

The "High Commander" Mode allows you to command different troops in battle in a much easier and precise way. You can also use it to view the status of single soldiers. All this allows you to coordinate your troops in a massive battle in a much easier way.

In the campaign you will slowly learn how to use the "High Commander" Mode. At first you will only be coordinating a few different units but while the campaign progresses you will be using it to coordinate your troops movement all over the conflict area.
In MP the "High Commander" Mode will also be a very powerful tool.

In the video which you can view below you will see the USMC engage a city in which the rebels have hidden themselves.

A armabase.de, ils ont commencé une sorte de FAQ(par exemple, si nous devrons avoir une plus grosse bécane pour jouer à ArmA2 comparé à ArmA1.).

De plus un membre de la communauté d’ArmA(W0lle) à pu visiter les locaux de BIS et jouer à ArmA2, et à écrit un avis personnel dessus. Mais important, il fait pas mal de constatation au niveau du jeu en lui-même et apprend pas mal de trucs.

Quelques citations de W0lle:
- Better animations then we have now
- M1 with loader position, without a loader the gunner must switch to loader position and reload, then switch back to fire
- Aimpoint optics looking much better now
- Campaign can be played with up to 4 players. It’s not limited to that but because in the campaign there are only 4 members in the force recon team.
- Civilians randomly move around in villages. While i was walking around in a village suddenly some russian patrol was there while the area was clear as I started
- Editor is the same one we know already but has now a debug console where you can do all kind of stuff like pausing the game and fly with the camera around
- The command interface is slightly different, like order your men in a vehicle is now: Select them -> 9 –> Complex command -> Get in vehicle
- The vehicles are extremely detailed, like moving instruments, retracting gear, electronics in the wheel well, scratches
- Wounded units roll on the ground in pain
- Wounded or dead units can be dragged or carried
- Dualcore support, one core is used for the Micro-AI

Overall it looks and feels much better then ArmA, even if you consider that it’s an early version. In fact, I haven’t expected it to be like this.
Moi non plus. Tant mieux, ça nous fera oublier le faux addon de BIS (Queen’s Gambit, sorti juste pour financer un peu sur le coup le studio).

    Ca a l’air chouette tout ça. Espéront qu’il ne sera pas trop buggé.

    Bah, du coup j’ai plus envie d’acheter Arma 1.

    Vahron, tu sais, pour 15-20 euros, t’as de quoi t’amuser pendant les 7-8 mois avant arma 2 ;)
    Et si arma 2 est bien buggué comme ses frères, tu en auras pour 1 an et demi facile.
